Two dedicated 3D vision-guided stations for two types of bricks — now ensure stable, high-throughput handling. Powered by the Epic Eye Laser L, the system delivers ±2 mm recognition accuracy and more than 99.5% identification reliability, enabling fully automated, damage-free depalletizing with 24/7 consistency and smoother production changeovers.

3D Vision Accelerates Automated Handling for Magnesia-Calcium Brick Production

Manual handling in magnesia-calcium brick production often face challenges like high labor intensity, inconsistent quality, and limited scalability. AI + 3D vision offers a smarter, automated alternative. Transfer Technology supplied the customer with the Epic Eye Laser L and Epic Pro software to build an automated handling system achieving ±2 mm recognition accuracy, ~2.8 s imaging, and ~3 s processing. This enables precise brick localization and a fully automated workflow.
