A leading refractory enterprise has deployed two independent vision-guided depalletizing systems:

  • Workstation 1: A single-suction unit designed for special axe-shaped bricks, enabling precise side-picking from flat stacks.

  • Workstation 2: A dual-suction system tailored for standard brick types, allowing simultaneous pick-up to boost efficiency.

Both systems are powered by Transfer Technology’s Epic Eye Laser L 3D camera, which reconstructs high-precision 3D point clouds in real time to output the pose information of bricks and guide robot arms for fully automated depalletizing.

Accurate Orientation Detection: Custom 3D recognition models identify key features—such as missing corners on axe-shaped bricks—to ensure correct alignment.
