Significant Cost Reduction

No IPC Needed, Edge Computing Onboard

Transfer Technology has pioneered the integration of high-performance computing modules directly into the cameras. Equipped with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the smart cameras eliminate dependence on external industrial PCs. This highly integrated design not only greatly enhances deployment flexibility, but also directly reduces procurement and maintenance costs of industrial PCs and supporting equipment (such as graphics cards, switches, and cabinets), all while maintaining the cameras' fundamental performance.

The smart camera comes with the full version of the Epic Pro vision software and the ATOM algorithm platform, achieving efficient collaboration of imaging, recognition, obstacle avoidance, and planning—all within a single device. By fully optimizing the camera and core algorithms, it can run high-complexity point cloud processing and deep learning algorithms right at the edge.

Enhanced Stability

More Reliable than Deploying Industrial PCs

The 3D smart cameras are built upon Transfer Technology’s independently developed integrated hardware and software architecture, providing exceptional stability and reliability even in extreme environments. Its highly integrated SoC effectively eliminates common failures of traditional industrial PCs, such as hard disk malfunctions and graphics card damage. With an IP65 protection rating, it significantly reduces failure risks caused by dust accumulation in fans or water vapor condensation, ensuring long-term, stable operation and providing continuous and reliable support for industrial production.

Moreover, the 3D smart cameras can run independently without relying on an industrial PC, supporting plug-and-play use, which further reduces wiring needs and enhances deployment flexibility. Tests show that Transfer Technology’s industrial 3D smart camera installation time is cut to one-fifth of traditional solutions. It also supports quick replacements, with downtime due to failures reduced by over 60%. The built-in high-performance SoC enables rapid edge processing, and internal data transfer speeds can reach 10Gbps—ten times that of traditional solutions—cutting transmission delays by over 200ms. In terms of power consumption, the Pixel series 3D smart cameras have average power consumption as low as 12W (6.5W in standby), and the Laser series can go as low as 16W (12W in standby).

Additionally, the devices feature multiple redundant backup mechanisms to ensure stable system operation even under extreme conditions. This high-reliability design significantly enhances the availability and stability of the cameras, providing a solid foundation for efficient work in industrial scenarios. Testing data shows that the devices maintain a 99.99% uptime rate even in environments with dust concentrations of 15mg/m³ and temperatures ranging from -10°C to 45°C.
