Epic New Product! Transfer Tech Releases New Laser 3D Camera with Excellent Ambient Light Resistance

Within factory and warehouse sites, fluctuating ambient light creates severe interference for vision recognition. Equipped with powerful light suppression technology, it delivers robust, dependable hardware support for loading & feeding, precision positioning & assembly, and depalletizing & palletizing workflows across automotive, home appliance, chemical and other industries.

To deliver consistent, reliable project outcomes and generate stable high-fidelity point clouds amid complex, harsh industrial conditions, Transfer Technology has officially released the Epic Eye Laser L 3D laser camera. This new hardware lays a solid, dependable foundation for vision guidance workflows including automated feeding, precision positioning & assembly, and depalletizing & palletizing across automotive, home appliance, chemical and other sectors.

Featuring outstanding ambient light resistance, the Epic Eye Laser L outputs intact, usable point clouds even near windows or in workshops without light shielding measures, perfectly fitting light-sensitive environments such as manufacturing workshops and logistics warehouses. It captures full, sharp point cloud data of dark reflective parts, readily tackling recognition hurdles of glossy black workpieces on machining, home appliance and auto component production lines. Supporting medium-long working distances and wide fields of view, the camera acquires point clouds and 2D images of targets, enabling ultra-precise recognition and positioning for large-size workpieces, stacked woven bags, cartons and turnover totes widely used in manufacturing.

Single-Exposure High-Quality Imaging for Objects Varying in Brightness & Color

The Epic Eye Laser L generates high-fidelity point clouds for both dark and bright targets within the field of view without multiple exposure cycles, drastically cutting image acquisition time. Equipped with robust dynamic adaptability to ambient light, the camera can reconstruct object profiles with fixed parameter settings even when illumination fluctuates, making it ideal for sites with variable lighting conditions.

Identical imaging parameters deliver consistent output quality for the same scene under different lighting levels. For scenes with stark brightness contrast under fixed lighting, full complete point clouds can be captured in a single scan with no repeated sampling required.

Boasting a wide field of view, the Epic Eye Laser L covers large stacking profiles even at short working distances. It delivers crisp, reliable recognition and positioning for bulky workpieces, woven bag stacks, printed cartons and turnover totes widely used in industrial logistics.

The camera achieves a single-point precision of 0.32 mm @ 2.4 m and planar area precision of 0.08 mm @ 2.4 m, with industry-leading measurement accuracy. Its typical capture cycle stands at 1.7 seconds (subject to actual ambient lighting and workpiece material), enabling fast sampling with high resolution.
