The production line requires continuous feeding of bulk materials into reactors and hoppers. Conventional manual depalletizing and bag handling processes suffer from low throughput, potential safety risks, dust pollution, and high labor costs.

By adopting Transfer Technology’s 3D vision-guided robotic solution, manual depalletizing operations can be fully automated. Cooperating with bag breakers and automatic bag opening equipment, the system realizes automated material feeding into reactors and silos, significantly reducing manual intervention, cutting labor expenses, and boosting overall production efficiency.

This project is equipped with the Epic Eye D-L 3D camera and Epic Handling vision system to support automated depalletizing operations. The applicable pallet measures 1.3 m × 1.3 m with a maximum stack height of 2 m. The system adapts to four types of bag workpieces with distinct surface patterns.

Capable of long-term stable and continuous operation on site, the solution achieves a steady bag recognition rate of 99.9% in actual production scenarios.

◦ Intelligent Manual Operation Replacement: The 3D vision-guided robotic system automates repetitive handling tasks, effectively minimizing on-site manual intervention.

◦ Strong Working Condition Adaptability: Compatible with various stacking modes including six-piece and five-piece stack layouts. The system stably identifies bag workpieces with diverse materials, dimensions, colors and surface patterns.

◦ Ultra-Low Material Residue: The customized material shaking structure effectively reduces residual materials inside bags, significantly cutting material wastage and operational costs.

◦ Multi-Industry Feeding Compatibility: Applicable to automated depalletizing and feeding for multiple materials, including plastic pellets, lime powder, biological fertilizers, chemical raw materials, and feed.

◦ Automatic Waste Bag Recycling: Waste bags are automatically sorted and collected, removing the need for manual sorting and bundling procedures.

Within this project, the depalletizing solution delivered by Transfer Technology enables unmanned intelligent upgrading for the bag breaking and feeding process of the home appliance production line, bringing tangible improvements to the site’s automation capacity and production throughput.
